A Letter from our New Youth Pastor

We are so excited to be working under Pastor Rogers, in the Teen ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. This is an exciting time for my family as we will be entering this ministry at the church. We hope to be joining the church in May.

Our family has had the opportunity to work with a small youth group we started in 2008. During that time we felt God calling us to finish college at a Baptist University, and we left in 2010 for Northland International University. At Northland we joined up with a local Baptist church, and we were given the opportunity to work with children ages 3-5. We relocated to Simpsonville South Carolina where Lee is attending Maranatha Baptist University Online.

Our heart is to bring glory to God throughout all of our families’ ministries. We are excited to see God work within Calvary’s Youth Group.

Our goal is to help the teens know God more – 2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”

To disciple in love – Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
To witness to the lost – Acts 22:15 “For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.”
Our desire is to partner along side the parents as they take the lead in the spiritual growth and development of their child. It is our goal to equip, encourage and minister to families by providing opportunities that will help them worship and learn together.

Again we are so excited to be joining Calvary Baptist Church.
